A west-facing cantilevered deck runs the length of the living room, with double-height glass doors that fold into themselves. A metal balcony runs the length of the master bath and bedroom on the home's east-facing side. Each provides seamless indoor/outdoor living and expansive views of the Ojai Valley and surrounding mountains. The interior of the living-dining area is spare, spacious and sophisticated, with bamboo floors and high ceilings. The gallery kitchen with its caesarstone countertops is gorgeous. Sitting on a wild and natural 1.5 acres, the home is surrounded by native plants and low maintenance plantings with numerous fruit trees. Architecturally, Zimmerman built a minimalist low-maintenance home/treehouse.
